Mom to Mom

The Mom-to-Mom program is a weekly mentorship program where women find community and belonging. The vision is to enhance maternal and child wellbeing through mentoring and education. Mom to Mom addresses the issue of isolation and need for positive role models in life and parenting. Women are matched with a trained mentor who builds relationship and provides support through texting, outings in the community, and attendance at the weekly program. Logos

Consider joining a Mom-to-Mom Group

We all know that parenting is difficult. Parenting in times of stress or crisis is even harder. Joining Mom to Mom will allow you to belong to a community of support on your parenting journey through mentoring, education, and supportive relationships. Our weekly group provides a safe place for support and connection. We cover topics such as parenting, finances, self-care, and cooking. In addition, each participant is matched with a trained mentor for ongoing support, outings, and friendship. We believe that every family should have the resources and support needed to thrive.

MENTOR

Our mentoring program is led and supported by trained social workers. Mentors experience training in cultural competency, empathy, listening skills, and a trauma informed approach to vulnerable populations.

Childcare Worker

Training provided. On hold due to Public Health Guidelines.

Snack Volunteer

Works with a small team of volunteers to plan and prepare weekly snacks for the Mom-to-Mom group.

Women who attend TPC have little or no support in their parenting journey. Some are navigating abusive relationships, impacted by poverty, and lack positive relationships or role models. Your financial support provides a weekly program, trained mentors, life-skills education, and the ongoing, relational support needed for families to thrive.
