What’s Happening?
According to Statistics Canada, the cost of formula has increased by 23% over the last year.
The Pregnancy Centre provides a container of formula to more than 150 families each month.
Who’s Impacted?
Some parents formula feed or supplement because of:
- Low breast milk supply.
- Lack of social supports.
- Poor maternal nutrition or illness.
- Infant medical needs and allergies.
- Being a caregiver or single dad.

Currently, 20 churches have signed up to support the Baby Bottle campaign with donations and formula.

Why Mentorship Matters.
Each year in the Waterloo Region, people become parents with little to no support.
Many families in our region experience poverty, addictions, mental health challenges, trauma and family violence, all while pregnant or parenting. Community and mentorship helps our clients combat feelings of isolation and instead feel seen, known, and valued.
You can help. You can become the village for the hundreds of families in need of support.
Colouring Contest
Generosity is for the whole family! Kids ages 0 to 12 are invited to join a colouring contest.
How to Enter
Bring your Baby Bottle colouring page to a participating church or enter the contest directly at The Pregnancy Centre.
Drop off your colouring page at 40 Francis St. S or email it to [email protected].
Contest Rules
- Entries are due June 17.
- One entry per child.
- For kids ages 0-12.
- Prize to be announced soon!
- Winner will be announced the week of June 24.
